I continued to play in my studio exploring additional techniques and exercises. One of the exercises I really enjoyed was a popular “40-bead challenge”. The objective is to create 40 different beads using only 2 colors and dots without the use of any tools. Although I didn’t follow the directions exactly (I didn’t know that swirls weren’t considered dots until later) and I didn’t complete the entire 40, I still learned a lot and had fun!
Once I sold my first beads the energy was flowing and open to this new development. I had other friends examining my bags of beads and picking out what they wanted to purchase. I also sold my 2 original fused glass pendants from the first class I had taken back in July.
Here are some other beads I made.
